Residential zoning units are installed in existing ductwork and vents and do not require replacing your existing HVAC system. These zoning units are equipped with dampers similar to the ones found in fireplaces. When opened and closed as necessary, these dampers work to maintain a preset in home temperature and can limit your HVAC system’s heating and cooling effects to specific rooms. Each unit also comes with attached thermometers and sensors that send information to a central control panel. The homeowner can set this control panel to maintain a desired in home temperature around the clock.
–Least expensive of today’s featured technology.
–Energy savings through the heating or cooling of only the rooms in your home currently in use.
